Hello Cas. Thank you for taking the time to read my inquiry. To start, I purchased a 2 stage reciprocating air compressor from my boss for $100. Nothing is wrong, it worked when it was shut down. They just upgraded to screw compressors. The specs on my "new" compressor are: 10HP 3 phase Sterling Electric motor, Speed-Aire 2 stage reciprocating compressor, and a 120 gallon horizontal tank. It is overkill for my garage/shop, but for $100, i couldn't pass it up. My garage is single phase, I have a static phase converter and I reduced the motor pulley by 1/3 as I have read online.

I did not see the wiring before it was removed and now I am a bit lost. I have read online about the starter motor or contactor and can not find mine. Perhaps it is in the motor assembly? I am sending you pictures of the motor's junction box and the pressure switch. I have several wires coming out of the motor into the junction box tied together and only 3 wires coming out in a loom. The pressure switch has 4 contacts, but only 2 wires coming out in a loom. I did read a similar question you answered about wiring 3 phase pressure switch, but you referenced a pressure switch with 4 leads on top, 4 leads on bottom. My switch only has the 4 leads. Please help me! I appreciate any and all help you can provide.

Thank you, Cliff
