I'm not sure where it is exactly you want to install this exhaust fan.

For Atlas Copco compressors, generally they say the maximum pressure drop in the ducts can be 30 Pa (= 0.0003 bar). If it is more, an outlet fan is needed on the end of the ducts.

In the Atlas Copco manual for a GA90 they say the maximum air speed through the (cooling air) grids is 5 meters/sec.

The most important things to keep in mind:

  • Make sure the compressors sucks in clean, fresh, cold air
  • Make sure the exhaust air isn't re-circulated back to the compressor.

Best way to make sure of this is to use ducting for inlet air, for outlet air or for both.

Please see picture for screenshot from the manual. I would not recommend installation proposal 1 in hot countries!

And I attached 1 more screenshot with some more information from Atlas Copco.

Good luck!
