can the compressor be fixed

  • Question Title: can the compressor be fixed

I have a campbell Hausfeld 6 Gallon Compressor(model mw250000) and the pressure switch on it is broken. Campbell has stopped making that switch and I have a hard time finding a replacement. Can you help me find one? Seeing that the compressor is only three years old I am having a hard time just tossing it if I can't fix it. So if I can't make it work as a air compressor I would like to find another use for it. With that being said I would like to know what the dangers would be for each of the different things I can turn it in to. Pig, gas can, watering can, any other ideas?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi Tyler,

You can simply use any other pressure switch, as long as the mechanical connections fits.,, that should be no problem!
